庄杰云，男，博士，1965年出生。中国水稻研究所研究员，博士研究生导师，国家水稻改良中心副主任兼水稻生物学国家重点实验室副主任。中国农业生物技术学会作物分会理事，浙江省遗传学会常务理事。

1984、1989和2001年分别获厦门大学、英国剑桥大学和浙江大学学士、硕士和博士学位。1984年起就职于中国水稻研究所，长期致力于水稻遗传育种和生物技术研究，开展水稻有利基因定位、遗传变异性分析和育种新途径探索。先后主持多项国家和省部水稻生物技术及其遗传育种应用研究项目，在国内外学术期刊发表论文137篇，取得省部级获奖成果9项，获国家发明专利3项、水稻品种权2项，制定行业标准1项。

主要研究内容：

1. 产量性状遗传机理研究

研究水稻产量性状遗传机理和杂种优势遗传基础，开展QTL精细定位与图位克隆。

2. 分子标记辅助育种

探索水稻分子标记选择技术途径，合作开展分子标记辅助育种。
